DEEP SCIENCE MEETS HIGH DESIGN
From conceptual prototypes to the world’s first commercially available luxury handbag made from mycelium, Mylo products are the result of close collaboration with a growing network of visionary brands committed to creating high-quality sustainable goods — designed for a lower environmental impact.

Consciously crafted for a balance of aesthetics, performance, and reduced environmental impact, our ultimate aim is to make Mylo accessible for brands big and small — allowing us to reach the mass-scale adoption needed to truly reduce the impact of leather-using industries.

GANNI x MYLO
Committed to cutting virgin animal leather from their collections, Danish label GANNI has made material innovation a cornerstone of their sustainability efforts.
Together we developed a capsule collection of hand-decorated Mylo saddle bags, wallets, and keychains. Debuted at the Global Fashion Summit, the capsule is the first step in an ongoing partnership with more styles promised in 2023.

Featured Collaboration
Frayme Mylo by Stella McCartney
Our long-term collaborator and one of the first designers to work with Mylo, Stella made history when she designed the first ever Mylo garments and yet again with the release of the Frayme Mylo – the world’s first commercially available luxury handbag made from mycelium. The exclusive first run of 100 editioned bags quickly sold out.
A new Stella icon, the Frayme Mylo has appeared in Stella’s three most recent runway shows at Paris Fashion Week and promises to be a staple accessory in collections to come.

Stan Smith Mylo by adidas
Global footwear leader adidas debuted the first-ever shoe made from mycelium. Together we collaborated to hone Mylo for the many different components of this iconic concept sneaker — from the upper and heel tab overlay to the perforated three stripes.
Our partnership with adidas continues today, with the intention for Mylo to be truly scalable across additional footwear franchises and product categories.

Products made from Mylo™ material are available directly from our growing network of brand partners. Product availability, release dates, distribution, and points of sale are controlled by partners individually.

Always refer to the care instructions that came with your product. Products made from Mylo™ material can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth and left to air dry. If your product came with a productive dust bag, we recommend storing your product inside when not in use.
Ready to retire a pair of socks or t-shirt? Use them to stuff inside your Mylo bag or shoes to help retain shape while in storage.
Like any new technology, Mylo™ material requires an initial investment to create, produce, and make products from, which means the first pieces to market will cost more and often sell out quickly.
The good news? Early demand for products made from Mylo™ material will help future costs come down. It’s very important to us to achieve accessible pricing so that more consumers can choose this highly desirable, sustainable alternative and thus have a wider environmental impact.
